Our Philosophy

“Every child grows. Ability is not inborn. It is a physiological condition, a matter of the big brain, under which the power of life grows in response to the environment since birth.. For the sake of our children, let us educate them from the cradle to have a noble mind, a high sense of values and splendid ability.”
Dr. Shinichi Suzuki

The programme has been inspired by the Canadian Suzuki Early Childhood specialist, Dorothy Jones who defines Suzuki Early Childhood Education as 'the realisation of potential through active and reactive participation in the environment that surrounds a child from birth'. It is based on the assumptions that every child can learn and that every child has an unlimited potential.

Suzuki Teachers and parents work together to create a stimulating, un-pressured learning environment in which a child learns skills and gains a sense of purpose to life, an understanding of discipline, and an appreciation of beauty.

Shinichi Suzuki called this Talent Education, an approach to teaching music to very young children which gives parents the opportunity to observe and participate in the development of their children's abilities.

Interested parents are encouraged to read Dr. Suzuki's book, “Nurtured By Love” for further information.
